Three kinds of
store

An online store is more than "a catalogue with a cart". Which type you need follows from catalogue size and business model: a compact starter store for first sales, a full e-commerce build for active growth, or a marketplace and B2B portal with the commercial logic wholesale and export selling requires.

25–35 days
01 · TYPE Starter Store

Starter store

from $1,300

A working shop for a focused range: catalogue with filters, cart, checkout without forced registration, online payment and shipping integration. Everything needed to take a first real order, without paying for features you will not touch this year.

Best for: Small brands, single-category shops, businesses moving from social selling to their own site
40–60 days
02 · TYPE Full E-commerce

Full e-commerce

from $2,300

A store built to grow: large catalogue with variants, customer accounts, loyalty and discounts, abandoned cart recovery, product feeds for marketplaces and ads, and synchronisation with your accounting or inventory system.

Best for: Established retailers, multi-category shops, brands running paid traffic at scale
70–120 days
03 · TYPE Marketplace / B2B

Marketplace / B2B

from $4,600

Multi-vendor platforms and wholesale portals: per-client pricing, contract terms, order approval flows, credit limits, vendor dashboards and deep ERP integration. Built around your commercial rules rather than a generic cart.

Best for: Wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers selling to dealers, multi-vendor platforms

Anatomy of an
online store

A store is eight critical blocks, and each one moves the funnel — from the first click in a category to the completed payment. One broken step costs 30–60% of sales, which is why we treat every block as its own small project with its own metrics.

01

Catalogue and navigation

The category tree is the backbone of both usability and SEO. Done well, a visitor reaches any product in two or three clicks and every category earns organic traffic of its own. Done badly, no amount of advertising rescues it.

Two to three clicks to any product
02

Filters and search

For catalogues past a hundred items, filters and search become the main navigation. Search has to survive typos and synonyms, and filters must reflect how buyers actually choose — by use case, not by your internal taxonomy.

Filter by intent, not by database field
03

The product page

Where the decision happens: photography, variants, specifications, availability, delivery estimate, reviews and related items. Every missing answer here becomes an abandoned tab or a support message.

Answer every question before it is asked
04

Cart and checkout

The most expensive part of the funnel to get wrong. Guest checkout, visible shipping cost early, a short form and no surprises on the final screen. Every extra required field costs completed orders.

Fewer steps, fewer abandoned carts
05

Customer accounts

Order history, saved addresses, repeat ordering in one click, loyalty balance. This is what turns a first-time buyer into a repeat one — and repeat buyers are where the margin lives.

Repeat purchase beats acquisition
06

Payments and shipping

Card payments, wallets, instalments where relevant, and shipping options calculated live rather than promised vaguely. For cross-border selling this also means currencies, duties and realistic delivery windows.

Show the real total early
07

E-commerce SEO

Category and product pages carry structured data, unique meta, clean URLs and canonical rules that survive filters and pagination. This is where most stores quietly lose their organic traffic.

Categories rank, not just the homepage
08

Analytics and recovery

Enhanced e-commerce tracking so you know which products and channels actually pay, plus abandoned cart recovery by email. Recovery alone typically returns a few per cent of lost revenue every month.

Measure revenue, not sessions

We work with
any industry

E-commerce works in any category — from niche cosmetics to wholesale parts distribution. The figures below are realistic conversion ranges per industry, achievable when every stage is done properly: catalogue structure, checkout, and abandoned cart recovery included.

01 · NICHE

Clothing and footwear

Size and colour variants, size guides, lookbooks, wishlists and an easy returns flow. Photography carries the sale, so the store is built around fast, high-quality images.

Conversion 1.5–3%
02 · NICHE

Electronics and appliances

Detailed specifications, comparison tables, compatibility checks, warranty terms and stock accuracy. Buyers here research hard, so the product page must answer technical questions fully.

Conversion 1–2.5%
03 · NICHE

Cosmetics and beauty

Ingredients, skin-type filters, sets and bundles, subscriptions for repeat purchases, and reviews with photos. High repeat rate makes customer accounts especially valuable.

Conversion 2–4%
04 · NICHE

Kids and baby

Age and size filters, safety certifications, gift options and bundles. Parents buy repeatedly and in seasons, so loyalty mechanics pay for themselves quickly.

Conversion 2–4%
05 · NICHE

Furniture and interiors

Large catalogues with configurable options, room visualisation, delivery and assembly scheduling, and instalment payment. Long consideration cycle means saved carts matter.

Conversion 0.8–2%
06 · NICHE

Food and delicatessen

Delivery windows, freshness and storage information, subscription boxes, and stock that updates in real time. Logistics integration matters more than design flourishes.

Conversion 3–6%
07 · NICHE

Sport and outdoor

Technical specifications, size and discipline filters, seasonal collections and equipment bundles. Buyers compare across shops, so specification completeness wins the order.

Conversion 1.5–3%
08 · NICHE

Auto parts

Selection by vehicle make, model and year — the single most important feature in this niche. Cross-references between original and aftermarket codes, plus supplier stock synchronisation.

Conversion 2–5%
09 · NICHE

Garden and tools

Strong seasonality, bulky-item shipping, professional and consumer segments with different pricing. Often benefits from a B2B tier alongside the retail one.

Conversion 2–4%
10 · NICHE

Pet supplies

Subscriptions for food and consumables, filters by animal and breed, loyalty programmes. One of the highest repeat-purchase categories in retail.

Conversion 3–6%
11 · NICHE

Building and plumbing

Calculators for quantity, bulk pricing tiers, project-based ordering, and delivery of heavy goods. Retail and trade customers usually need separate experiences.

Conversion 1.5–3%
12 · NICHE

Books, gifts and stationery

Very large catalogues, gift wrapping and messages, recommendation blocks, and strong seasonal peaks around holidays. Search quality decides the basket size.

Conversion 2–4%

5 steps from
brief to launch

A transparent process with a fixed timeline for every stage. You see and approve the result of each step before the next begins. No surprises, no "complexity surcharges", no slipped deadlines — all written into the contract.

01

Brief & UX audit

We map the catalogue, the way customers actually choose, and how orders flow through your business afterwards. If there is an existing store, we look at where its funnel leaks before designing anything new.

4–7 days
02

Structure & prototype

Category tree, filter logic, product page layout and the checkout flow as wireframes. This is where most of the conversion is decided, long before the visual design exists.

6–10 days
03

Design & content

Visual design of catalogue, product and checkout screens. In parallel we prepare the catalogue data: import format, attributes, and the photography requirements that keep pages fast.

10–18 days
04

Build & integrations

Store build, payment and shipping integrations, accounting synchronisation, feeds. Tested with real orders end to end, including refunds and edge cases nobody thinks about until launch.

15–60 days
05

Launch & handover

Migration, SSL, redirects from the old store, analytics verification, and training for whoever runs the shop day to day. First month of support is free.

3–7 days

Technology
stack

The industry standard for e-commerce: a flexible product structure, headless options where speed demands it, and a full set of integrations with payments, shipping, accounting and ERP. Every store is checked against Core Web Vitals, load-tested at checkout and reviewed against the OWASP Top 10.

Results in
numbers

Three projects with real analytics behind them — web analytics, Search Console and the client's own numbers. On request we can walk you through the dashboards with client domains masked and explain how each was implemented.

A Korean cosmetics retailer had a store where nobody could find anything: 1,400 products, filters by brand only, and a checkout that required registration. We rebuilt navigation around how customers actually choose — skin type, concern, ingredient — added guest checkout, subscriptions for repeat products and reviews with photos. Conversion went from 1.1% to 3.1% within four months on the same traffic.

A distributor took wholesale orders by phone and email, and every order was re-keyed by hand. We built a B2B portal with per-client price lists, credit limits, order history and repeat ordering, synchronised with their ERP so stock and pricing were always current. Within six months 40% of wholesale volume moved online and order processing time dropped by two thirds.

A clothing brand selling domestically wanted to reach Polish customers. We added a full Polish version, local payment methods, currency handling and international shipping with realistic delivery windows, then set up localised product feeds for advertising. Nine months later Poland accounted for 28% of orders and became the fastest-growing segment of the business.

Questions about
online stores

How much does an online store cost? +
A working store for a focused range starts at $1,300 (STARTER). A store built to grow — accounts, loyalty, cart recovery, feeds and stock synchronisation — starts at $2,300 (STANDARD). A marketplace or wholesale platform starts at $4,600 (PREMIUM). The exact number depends on catalogue size and integrations, and it is fixed in the contract before work begins.
How long does it take? +
STARTER takes 25–35 days, STANDARD 40–60, PREMIUM 70–120. The most common cause of delay is catalogue content — photography and product descriptions. Start preparing those in parallel with development rather than after it.
WooCommerce, OpenCart or a custom build? +
For most retail stores WooCommerce or OpenCart is the right answer: proven, extensible, and not tied to us as a vendor. A custom build makes sense when the commercial logic is genuinely unusual — B2B pricing rules, complex configurators, unusual logistics. We work with both and recommend whichever is cheaper to own in your case.
Can we launch with part of the catalogue? +
Not only can you, you should. Launching with your top 100 products validates demand and the operational process; the rest arrives by import afterwards. It is far better than spending six months entering three thousand items before taking a single order.
Which payment methods can we accept? +
Cards through Stripe or PayPal, Apple and Google Pay, local gateways for your market, and instalment providers where they exist. For cross-border selling we also handle multi-currency display and settlement.
Will the store synchronise with our accounting system? +
Yes, if the system exposes an API or a scheduled export. Stock levels, prices and orders can flow both ways. In practice this integration is the longest part of the project organisationally, so we ask about it at the brief stage rather than discovering it late.
Can you migrate our existing store? +
Yes, and preserving rankings is the priority: products, categories, customers and order history are migrated, and every old URL is mapped to a new one with 301 redirects. Done properly a migration costs no organic traffic.
Do you handle the product photography? +
Not in-house, but we specify exactly what is needed — dimensions, format, background, angles — and can recommend a photographer. Getting this right matters more for conversion than most design decisions.
Do you work with clients outside Ukraine? +
Yes. Communication is remote over Slack, Telegram, Zoom or email, contracts are signed digitally, and invoicing is in USD or EUR through SWIFT, Wise, Payoneer or Stripe. Working hours overlap with Western Europe and the US East Coast morning.
Will we be able to run the store ourselves? +
That is the point. The admin panel is set up around your actual workflow, and we run a training session after handover, recorded so new staff can watch it later. Adding products, editing prices and processing orders should never need a developer.
